2. Wh-type questions (၂)

Who ဖြင့် မေးခွန်းလုပ်နည်း

*** ပြုလုပ်သူ Subject ကို မေးလျှင် Who ဖြင့် မေးရသည်။

*** Who နှင့် မေးခွန်းလုပ်လျှင် Who နောက်တွင် Verb လိုက်သည်။ ထို Verb များကို (s, es) အမြဲတမ်း ထည့်ပေးရမည်။ Who ကို အင်္ဂလိပ်တွေက (Singular)ဟု ယူဆသောကြောင့် ဖြစ်သည်။

*** Who နှင့် မေးခွန်းလုပ်လျှင် (do, does, did) ထည့်ရန် မလိုပါ။ (တခြားမေးခွန်း စကားလုံးများ တွင်သာ လိုအပ်သည်။)

*** (am, is, are, was, were) များနှင့် ရေးထားလျှင် Who မေးခွန်းတွင် သူ့အတိုင်းသာ ပြန်ရေးပေးရမည်။

*** Who = ဘယ်သူလဲ၊ မည်သူလဲ (သက်ရှိကို မေးခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။)

Eg: (1) My mother washes my clothes. (ကျွန်တော့်အမေက ကျွန်တော့်အဝတ်တွေကို လျှော်ပေးတယ်။)

Who washes your clothes? (ဘယ်သူက မင်းအဝတ်တွေကို လျှော်ပေးတာလဲ။)

(2) My father wishes to have green-tea. (ကျွန်တော့်အဖေက ရေနွေးကြမ်း သောက်ချင်တယ်။)

Who wishes to have green-tea? (ဘယ်သူက ရေနွေးကြမ်း သောက်ချင်တာလဲ။)

(3) Ko Kaung and Thuta wish to play game. (ကိုကောင်းနဲ့ သုတက ဂိမ်းကစားချင်တယ်။)

Who wishes to play game? (ဘယ်သူက ဂိမ်းကစားချင်တာလဲ။)

(4) We want to go shopping. (ကျွန်တော်တို့ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်ချင်တယ်။)

Who wants to go shopping? (ဘယ်သူက ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်ချင်တာလဲ။)

(5) Pyi Soe Min and Thiri want to go on a vacation. (go on a vacation = အားလပ်ရက် ခရီးသွားခြင်း)

Who wants to go on a vacation? (ဘယ်သူက အားလပ်ရက်ခရီးထွက်ချင်တာလဲ။)

(6) U Khin Mg Oo is my teacher. (ဦးခင်မောင်ဦးက ကျွန်တော့်ဆရာပါ။)

Who is your teacher? (မင်းဆရာက ဘယ်သူလဲ။)

(7) U Htoo Aung Wint and Daw Pyae Phyo San are my parents. (ဦးထူးအောင်ဝင့်နဲ့ ဒေါ်ပြည့်ဖြိုးစံက ကျွန်တော့်မိဘတွေပါ။)

Who are your parents? (မင်းမိဘတွေက ဘယ်သူတွေလဲ။)

(8) Kaung Zayar Linn ate my Donut. (ကောင်းဇေယျာလင်းက ငါ့ဒိုးနပ်မုန့်ကို စားခဲ့တယ်။)

Who ate your Donut? (ဘယ်သူက မင်းရဲ့ဒိုးနပ်မုန့်ကို စားခဲ့တာလဲ။)

(9) Ba Gyi Phyo has given me this present. (ဘကြီးဖြိုးက ငါ့ကို ဒီလက်ဆောင် ပေးတာ။)

Who has given you this present? (ဘယ်သူက မင်းကို ဒီလက်ဆောင်ပေးတာလဲ။)

(10) My mother loves me so much. (ငါ့အမေက ငါ့ကိုသိပ်ချစ်တာ။)

Who loves me so much? (ဘယ်သူက ငါ့ကို သိပ်ချစ်တာလဲ။)

(11) Kaung Thuta gets up early. (ကောင်းသုတက အစောကြီး အိပ်ယာထတတ်တယ်။)
