“Drop in” = ချက်တစ်ဖြုတ်၊ ခဏတဖြုတ်၊ ခေတ္တခဏ

          သူငယ်ချင်းအိမ် သို့မဟုတ် ဆွေမျိုးအိမ်ကို အကြောင်းမကြားဘဲ၊ ချိန်းဆိုထား ခြင်း မရှိဘဲ ရုတ်တရက် အလည်သွားခြင်း၊ အလည်ဝင်ခြင်း စသည်ဖြင့် သုံးချင်လျှင် ‘drop in’ ကို သုံးသည်။ ‘drop by’ နှင့် အဓိပ္ပါယ် ဆင်တူသော်လည်း သူက ‘informal’ သဘော၊ ရင်းနှီးခင်မင် ဟန်သဘော ပိုဆန်သည်။

Feel free to drop in for a cup of tea anytime.

လက်ဖက်ရည်သောက်ရအောင် ဘယ်အချိန်ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် အလည်ဝင်ခဲ့ဗျ။

My parents often drop in on us without calling first.

ဖုန်းမဆက်၊ ဘာမဆက်နဲ့ ကျွန်တော့်မိဘတွေက အလည်ရောက်လာတတ်တယ်ဗျ။
