(6) Transitive and Intransitive Verbs

            Transitive Verbs များသည် ကံလိုကြိယာ ဖြစ်သည်။ Intransitive Verbs များသည် ကံမလို ကြိယာဖြစ်သည်။ Transitive Verbs များ၏နောက်တွင် (Direct Object) လိုက်ရပါသည်။

Eg: Father beat Ko Kaung. (beat သည် Action Verb ဖြစ်ပြီး Ko Kaung သည် Direct Object ဖြစ်သည်။)

The cat ate the cake. (ate သည် Action Verb ဖြစ်ပြီး cake သည် Direct Object ဖြစ်သည်။)

The Chindwin river flows furiously in the rainy season.

We lived in Monywa for many years.
