(3) Helping Verbs (Auxiliary Verbs)

            Helping Verbs (Auxiliary Verbs) ဟူသည် အကူကြိယာများကို ခေါ်ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ အသုံးများသည့် အကူကြိယာများမှာ (Be, Do, Have) တို့ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။

*Be = am, is, are, was, were, be, been, being, will be

*Do = do, does, did, will do

*Have = has, have, had, will have

            မေးခွန်းဝါကျ၊ အငြင်းဝါကျနှင့် အချိန်ကာလကိုပြသည့်ဝါကျများတွင် (Main Verb) နှင့် တွဲသုံးရပါ သည်။

Eg: He is a student. (is သည် M.V ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဖြစ်တည်မှုကို ပြ၍ဖြစ်သည်။)

Ko Kaung is reading lessons. (Reading သည် M.V ဖြစ်၍ is သည် H.V ဖြစ်ပါသည်။) အချိန်ကာလကိုပြ*

Ko Kaung was reading lessons. (Reading သည် M.V ဖြစ်၍ was သည် H.V ဖြစ်သည်။) အချိန်ကာလကိုပြ*

Ko Kaung is not a student. (Negative Sentence)

Is Ko Kaung a student? (Question Sentence)

She did cry to school. (လေးနက်စေချင်တဲ့အခါ cried အစား did သုံးပါတယ်။)

She did not cry to school.

Did she cry to school?

She has a doll.

She has not a doll.

Has she not a doll?

(4) Modal Verbs

အသုံးများသည့် Modal Verbs များမှာ (can, could, will, would, shall, should, may, might, must) တို့ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။ လိုအပ်ချက်၊ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်၊ မျှော်လင့်ချက်၊ တောင်းဆိုချက်၊ ခွင့်ပြုချက်၊ ဖြစ်နိုင်ချေနှင့် လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်မှု တို့ကို ပြလိုသည့်အခါ သုံးသည်။

Eg: They must go home. (necessity)

He will study hard before the exam. (intention)

 I will go to Pyin Oo Lwin. (expectation)

Would you come with me? (requests)

He can come back now. (permission)

May I go out teacher? (permission)

You should study hard before the exam. (suggestion)

Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be. (possibility)
