(4) Type – 3           Past Unreal Condition

အတိတ်မှာ တကယ်မဖြစ်ခဲ့သော်လည်း နှောင်းခဲ့ခြင်းကို ပြန်တမ်းတသည်ကို ပြောချင်လျှင် သုံးရသည်။

If ……… had + V3 ……… , ……… would + have + V3 ………

 

Eg: (1) If I had studied hard, I would have passed the exam. (စာမကြိုးစားခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် စာမေးပွဲ မအောင်။)

(2) If I had got the message, I would have come earlier. (မက်ဆေ့ချ်မရ၊ ဒါ့ကြောင့် စောစောမလာရ။)

(3) If I had had enough money, I would have bought a new car. (ငွေအလုံအလောက် မရှိခဲ့၊

ဒါ့ကြောင့် ကားအသစ် မဝယ်ရ။)

(4) If I had known you were in hospital, I would have gone to visit you. (တက်တဲ့ ဆေးရုံ မသိခဲ့၊ ဒါ့ကြောင့် သတင်းမေးမရောက်ရ။)

(5) If I hadn’t been so tired, I would have gone out. (မပင်ပန်းရင် အပြင်ထွက်မယ်ဆိုပေမယ့် သိပ်ပင်ပန်းခဲ့တယ်၊ ဒါ့ကြောင့် အပြင်မထွက်ခဲ့ရ။)

(6) If I had been sick, I would have gone to the doctor. (မဖျားခဲ့၊ ဒါ့ကြောင့် ဆရာဝန်ဆီမသွားရ။)

(7) If the weather had been good, we would have gone water-skiing. (ရာသီဥတု မကောင်းခဲ့၊ ရေလွှာလျှောစီး မသွားရ။)

(8) If he had talked to me, I would have listened to him. (သူမပြောခဲ့၊ ဒါ့ကြောင့် နားမထောင်ခဲ့ရ။)

(9) If it had rained last weekend, we would have stayed at home. (မိုးရွာရင် အိမ်နေမယ်။ မိုးမရွာလို့ အိမ်မှာ မနေခဲ့ကြ။)

(10) If she had saved enough money, she would have bought a new bicycle. (ငွေအလုံအလောက် စုမိခဲ့ရင် စက်ဘီးဝယ်မယ်ဆိုတယ်။ တကယ်တော့ မစုမိခဲ့၊ အမှန်တရားက စက်ဘီးမဝယ်ခဲ့ရ။)

(10) If it had been a huge explosion, so many people couldn’t have been affected. (ကြီးမားတဲ့ပေါက်ကွဲမှု ဖြစ်ရင်တောင် လူတွေ မထိခိုက်နိုင်။ တကယ်တော့ ပေါက်ကွဲမှု မဖြစ်ခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် လူတွေ မထိခိုက်ခဲ့ကြ။)

(11) If the student had listened to the teacher carefully, he would have answered the questions easily. (တကယ်တော့ ဂရုတစိုက် နားမထောင်ခဲ့ကြ၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် မေးခွန်းတွေ လွယ်လွယ်မဖြေနိုင်ခဲ့ကြ။)

(12) If I had guessed the future, I would have taken some precations against what would happen. (တကယ်တော့ အနာဂတ်ကို မခန့်မှန်းနိုင်ခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် တချို့ကိစ္စတွေကို ကြိုတင်ပြင်ဆင်မှု မလုပ်နိုင်ခဲ့ရ။)

(13) If she had found his phone number, she might have called him for the party. (တကယ်က ဖုန်းနံပါတ် မတွေ့ခဲ့ရ၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် ပါတီမဖိတ်ခဲ့ရ။)

(14) If I had left earlier, I wouldn’t have missed my flight. (တကယ်က စောမထွက်ခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် လေယာဉ်လွတ်ခဲ့ရ။)

(15) If you hadn’t been so rude, they would have invited you back. (တကယ်က ရိုင်းပျခဲ့တယ်၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် မဖိတ်ခဲ့တာ။)

(16) If you had called me, I would have come. (တကယ်က မခေါ်ခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် မလာခဲ့ရ။)

(17) If she had replied to my message, I wouldn’t have been so worried. (တကယ်တော့ မက်ဆေ့ချ်ကို မပြန်ခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် စိတ်ပူခဲ့ရ။)

(18) If I had taken better care of myself, I wouldn’t have got sick. (တကယ်က ဂရုမစိုက်ခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် ဖျားခဲ့ရ။)

(19) If she had driven carefully, she wouldn’t have had an accident. (တကယ်တော့ ဂရုတစိုက် မမောင်းခဲ့၊ အဲဒါကြောင့် မတော်တဆ ဖြစ်ခဲ့ရ။)

(20) If I had studied abroad, my English would have been better. (တကယ်တော့ နိုင်ငံခြားမှာ စာမသင်ခဲ့ရ၊ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ ပိုမကောင်းခဲ့။)

*** If ဖြုတ်ပြီး Had ကို ဝါကျ၏ ရှေ့ဆုံးထုတ်ကာ ရေးနိုင်သေးသည်။

Eg: (1) If I had had enough money, I would have bought a new car.

Had I had enough money, I would have bought a new car.

*** would have ဆိုတာ - တစ်ခုခုလုပ်ခဲ့မှာလို့ ဆိုလိုတယ်။

*** could have ဆိုတာ - တစ်ခုခုလုပ်နိုင်ခဲ့တယ်လို့ ဆိုလိုတယ်။

*** might have ဆိုတာ - တစ်ခုခုလုပ်ကောင်း လုပ်ခဲ့မှာလို့ ဆိုလိုတယ်။

Eg: (1) If the weather hadn’t been so bad, we would have gone out. (ရာသီဥတုသာ ဒီလောက် မဆိုးခဲ့ရင် ကျွန်တော်တို့ အပြင်ထွက်ခဲ့ကြမှာ။)

(2) If the weather hadn’t been so bad, we could have gone out. (ရာသီဥတုသာ ဒီလောက် မဆိုးခဲ့ရင် ကျွန်တော်တို့ အပြင်ထွက်နိုင်ခဲ့ကြမှာ။)

(3) If the weather hadn’t been so bad, we might have gone out. (ရာသီဥတုသာ ဒီလောက် မဆိုးခဲ့ရင် ကျွန်တော်တို့ အပြင်ထွက်ကောင်း ထွက်ခဲ့ကြမှာ။
